FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
EIA is deeply committed to the safety and well-being of the company’s most valued asset — its employees. As an active member of Partners in Preparedness, EIA recognizes the importance of emergency preparedness.
To highlight its commitment to preparedness, EIA will again acknowledge and celebrate FEMA’s National Preparedness Month in September. This annual campaign will allow EIA to raise awareness about personal and workplace preparedness, through the dissemination of specialized NYC OEM preparedness literature, a company-wide notification drill, and through distribution of specialized emails which will educate and instruct employees on what to do during an emergency or disaster.
EIA also plans to distribute the “Ready Schools” suite of publications and videos to all of its employees that have school-age children. “Ready Schools” is a project to help young New Yorkers prepare for all types of emergencies. Preparedness month activities may include community partners from law enforcement, fire prevention, and the American Red Cross who can provide additional preparedness and safety information to all employees.
Based in New York City, EIA is one of the leading networked technology firms in America. EIA provides strategic system integration. A veteran-owned company founded in 1977, EIA provides solutions to customers which include covert and open surveillance, video synopsis and analytics, video archiving, access control, lock-down systems, Ethernet, fiber optic and copper cabling, and providing set-up and management of networks at general, high-risk, and other special events.
