On the night of August 7, 2013, the well known Jackie Robinson statue at Coney Island had hate graffiti written all over it. This story made national news, as the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC was defaced just a week prior. After learning there were no surveillance cameras on the statue in The Daily News, EIA decided to supply a camera and installation to the iconic Brooklyn statue. The story about EIA donating a camera aired on the Friday August 9, 2013 edition of New York City's Channel 11 (Pix11) Nightly News.
