EIA to Help Put the New York City Mayoral Debates on Television

NEW YORK, NY (August 20, 2013) – EIA, Inc., a leading provider of IP systems integration, today announced they will help facilitate the audio and video broadcast for the New York City Mayoral Debate which will be held on Wednesday August 28, 2013.

EIA plans to assist with the set-up of the evening’s technology, including the deployment of control wiring and fiber optic cables, for both broadcast high-definition television and audio. The debates will be live on both television (English and Spanish) as well as radio. The debates will be overseen by the New York City Campaign Finance Board, who will also stream them live on their website.

The CFB has administered the Debate Program in every citywide election since 1997. The debates are a core component of NYC Votes, the CFB’s nonpartisan voter engagement campaign; the primary election is scheduled for September 10, 2013.
