George Engel, Chairman of the Board


Mr. Engel is the Chairman of EIA, Inc., after retiring as Chief Executive Officer in 2013.
Founded by Mr. Engel in 1977, EIA has evolved and advanced to become a leader in Networked Technologies. EIA's customers have included the local and federal government sectors, healthcare and educational facilities, law enforcement agencies and private industry. Among the company's many products and services, is providing covert and open surveillance, video synopsis and analytics, video archiving, access control, nuclear material tracking, and providing set up and management of networks at special events.
Mr. Engel served in the U.S. Air Force and is a Vietnam Veteran. Most recently he has served 10 years with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security / USCG Aux, including as National Chief of Staff for Information Technology. He is a licensed US Coast Guard Captain and Coxswain, and has served as Commander of a Flotilla in New York City. 

Yolanda "Yoly" del Prado, Chief Financial Officer
Mrs. del Prado joined EIA in 1989. As the CFO, she is primarily responsible for the overall financial well-being of the corporation as well as for the corporation’s accounting practices. She oversees the maintenance of its fiscal periods and the preparation of its financial results. She monitors government taxcompliance, works with auditors and attorneys on matters pertaining to taxes, accounting, financial and corporate issues. She also monitors and enforces corporate policies, accounting/finance practices and procedures, and oversees billing and collections.
Mrs. del Prado's responsibilities include overseeing several departments within EIA, including: Accounting, Finance, Administration and Human Resources.
Matthew Orent, Chief Operating Officer
Matthew joined EIA as Director of Sales & Marketing, bringing with him 15 years of sales leadership experience.
Matthew started his career at Bloomberg LP where he was a key member in the development and launch of Bloomberg Law (BLAW) during his 9 years with the firm. After leaving Bloomberg, Matthew has spent the last six years in the start-up world where he has run sales teams within various industries. During this time he was responsible for expanding the firms' footprints in the Government, Legal, Financial and Technology sectors.  He received his B.S. in Finance from Syracuse University.

Salvador Guevara, Government Sales Manager
Mr. Guevara is the Sales Manager for Government Accounts; he started at EIA in 1995 as the Government Administrator then Manager responsible for government contracting and expansion of EIA's governent business, initially with the award of the New York State Unified Court city-wide cabling contract. He later helped develop contracts with NYCHA , NYCTA , HRA, GSA, OGS and the majority of City agencies. Working closely with government ACCOS and IT directors, he developed contracting solutions that resulted in a cost effective expedited procurement process for city agencies.

Mr. Guevara is currently focused on sales and marketing of the EIA security, Wi-Fi, Infrastructure and electrical services to government and non-government organizations. Mr. Guevara came to EIA after working for Law/Grandall engineering where he managed government contracts, with SCA, NY Federal Reserve, and prior to that he worked for Mobil Oil Legal Division.
